E. Boudreault VR operates two distinct SMS text messaging programs. This page explains who sends each one, who receives it, and exactly how you give consent.

PROGRAM A — APPOINTMENTS AND SERVICE

Who receives: people who have booked an appointment with us — test drive, service, appraisal — and those who have written or called us about a request.

Why: to confirm an appointment, remind you the day before and one hour before, answer your questions and follow up on an exchange.

What we never do: no cold texts, no purchased or rented lists, and we never resell your number.

HOW THE NUMBER IS DISPLAYED

Text or call: (581) 874-5950 or (581) 202-7515

Purpose: to reach E. Boudreault VR about your appointment or your request. No keyword required — simply send your question to start the conversation; if you have previously texted STOP, reply START to resubscribe. Message frequency varies (up to approximately 5 messages per conversation). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, HELP for assistance.

HOW YOU CONSENT

  1. By booking an appointment on our website. The booking form includes a separate checkbox, unchecked by default and optional. The appointment can be booked without checking it, in which case no text message is sent to you. Your choice is recorded with its timestamp and the exact wording displayed.

  2. Verbally, during a call with a representative or the assistant, using a fixed script:

    "Would you like us to continue by text message? If so, you agree to receive SMS messages from E. Boudreault VR regarding your request — appointment confirmations and reminders, and follow-up. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. Do you agree?"

    Only an affirmative answer activates sending. The call recording and transcript serve as proof of consent.

  3. You text us first. Our very first reply is always the following, sent before the conversation continues:

    "Thank you for texting E. Boudreault VR. You will receive replies regarding your request, as well as appointment confirmations and reminders. Frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for assistance, STOP to unsubscribe."

    By continuing the conversation after this disclosure, you consent to receive our replies. Replying STOP immediately ends all messages.

PROGRAM B — PROMOTIONS

Who sends: E. Boudreault VR — MÉCANIQUE, DÉBOSSELAGE E. BOUDREAULT INC.

Who receives: only people who have asked to receive our offers — by checking the box provided for that purpose, by saying so verbally, or by texting us.

Why: to inform you of our promotions, new arrivals and events.

What we never do: no cold texts, no purchased or rented lists, no resale of your number.

HOW YOU CONSENT

The same three paths as Program A, with a separate checkbox for promotions: the two consents are never merged. You can accept appointment reminders without accepting promotions, and vice versa.

Your mobile information is never shared: mobile consent information, consent records, and phone numbers are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliated companies for marketing or promotional purposes.
